“With tools available today, it’s easy to make music that sounds passable and gets the job done. This is not my goal.

My goal is to turn heads, reward careful listeners, stir emotion in the jaded and cynical, and mystify the young and innocent.

I try to find purpose in the act of creating and learning with each project, and I hope to always appreciate having such a freaking cool job.”

Dan first began working with Riot Games in 2013 as an in-house composer. He then moved to a remote contract composer role in 2015, which he continues to fill. In that time he has contributed hours of music to the worldwide phenomenon, League of Legends, and more recently to their newer title, Legends of Runeterra.

Dan’s talents can be heard in a wide range of other games, movies, and shows. He has filled many roles including main composer, additional composer, arranger, guitarist, and music editor.
